This weblog, or 'blog' as they are popularly called by denizens of the Internet world, is to have a discussion on the current needs of our children in terms of reaching their potential, and to debate whether those needs are being met as well as they might be by the current education system.

India stands at the threshold of being an economic force to reckon with. Countries like the UK consider India their competitor in the new economic scenario. Let's discuss whether/how the education system is preparing its children for this scenario.

Finally, if we feel that the education system can use some change, and we have some ideas on how to go about it, let's discuss specific ways to make a tangible difference!
